Phase II properties typically constitute the hotel condo style of property we find in the Village and in the Upper Village. This model offers full, freehold 100% ownership. Popular with people who are looking to secure time in the resort at a fixed cost during peak times of the year, it’s worth noting that there is a restriction on the number of nights an owner can use their unit. The amount of time an owner can use their apartment is limited to 28 nights in the fall & winter and another 28 nights in the spring & summer. The remaining time (and any unused owner nights) can be placed in a nightly rental ‘pool’ to earn the owner revenue. The hotel and rental pool is managed by the on-site hotel management company. Typically when you stay as an owner, you are removed from the rental pool and forfeit any nightly rental earnings generated by the pool.
