Whistler Market Update:
In Whistler the real estate market is slow and busy. As confusing as this sounds, this market is that way. Many buyers want to purchase, which should technically make things active, but hardly any new listings are coming on the market. Prices continue to move upwards.
The bond market has moved quite significantly, and therefore, mortgage rates will be going up. Buyers with pre-approval have 30-90 days to purchase before their rate guarantee expire, and consequently, we could see an increase in buyer activity.
