Examples of shared ownership are Horstman House on Blackcomb’s Upper Village, Legends in Whistler Creekside and it’s pet friendly sister property Evolution, also in Whistler Creekside. These are ‘Quarter-share’ models which give 1 week every 4 weeks of personal use on a rotating 4 year calendar. This guarantees owners a Christmas week or Easter week every 4 years. If you are unable to come to the resort to use your week, the on-site hotel management company will manage nightly rentals for you. Another shared ownership option, for larger families and groups that are looking for only a few weeks each season, is Fairmont’s Heritage Place At Natures Door. This exclusive ski in ski out development above Whistler Creekside offers large multi-story 3 & 4 bedroom homes, featuring gourmet kitchens, open plan living space, private hot tubs and large double car garages. On-site, owners enjoy a swimming pool, common area hot tubs, a front desk with concierge service, shuttle service and an exception travel benefits program from Accor. Owners receive 5 weeks each year; 2 winter weeks, 2 summer weeks and a 5th float week.
