In Whistler village and on the Benchlands we find the Hotel-condo or ‘Phase II’ ownership model.  This type of ownership gives owners 100% ownership in the hotel of their choice, along with all the amenities that hotel ownership offers; pool, hot tub, gym, concierge, front desk, housekeeping, shuttle service and access to their own homeowners manager, to help coordinate hotel says and requests.  Most hotel-condos allow owners to book up to 6 months in advance of the start of the season they are looking to book in.  There is also an option to book within 30 days of the date of your arrival, but note that some hotels will not accept a booking within 30 days, IF the hotel occupancy is 80% or higher at the time you are trying to reserve your room.  All hotel-condos are managed by the hotel management; you can not AirBnB or self manage your hotel-condo.
