The Whistler Real Estate market continues to be very active as Whistler and Blackcomb open for the 2020 / 2021 season.

Therefore, increasing buyer activity has been driven by people able to work remotely and play locally. Firstly this has started to reduce the number of available listings.  Moreover,  with decreased inventory and steady demand, the Whistler market is moving to a seller’s market.  Single-family homes and nightly rental townhomes lead the charge. In November we only had 190 active listings of single-family homes, condos, duplexes, townhouses and triplexes.

These numbers are quite low for Whistler. We would need to go back 2 years to see similar levels of inventory.  Comparatively this July’s active listing count of 338. We can see why the currently Whistler market has moved to be a seller’s market.  With 190 listings and 80 sales, November posted a 42% sales to active ratio with 2 months of inventory available for purchase in Whistler. Check out my new listings here, and the rest of my November stats here.
